FAQ
Common Questions and Answers
Q: What forms of payment do you
accept?
A: The preferred payment method is by purchasing online, via PayPal,
where you can use your credit or debit card, direct payment from bank account
or payment from your PayPal balance.
Failing that, money orders/cashier's checks via snail mail, or only if
absolutely necessary, UPS or USPS COD.
Q: Are there any fees to use COD?
A: Yes. The fee for COD is $10 over the cost of the order.
Q: How do I sign up for PayPal?
A: You are signed up automatically when you check out, if you wish. If you want to sign up ahead of time,
follow this link: https://www.paypal.com/us/mrb/pal=XPJVKX8HCT5EN
Q: Do you stock all the parts you
sell?
A: Unless advised otherwise on the site, i.e. ‘special order’, you can
consider the parts to be in stock, i.e. they are actually in stock, or should
be by the shipping date for your order. I do not stock any of the parts
from other vendors - those parts are all drop shipped directly from the vendor. Exceptions occur from time to time, so
please let us know if you need your parts by a particular date.
Q: What if the part I need is not on
your list?
A: If it is not in our current website, we don’t sell it. Exceptions to this, of course, are
parts from our aftermarket suppliers, such as Performance Plus, and TCE, and a
few of our ‘black ops’ project parts like HD gearsets and a few other goodies
that we have not yet put up on our site.
If the part is in the Old Website Info
section, it is there for information only – we no longer sell it. See the Old Website Info section for more information.
Q: How do you ship?
A: We generally ship the most economical way, either by USPS Priority
Post for medium to smaller packages < 0.3 cubic feet or < 4 lb, or
by UPS Ground for bulkier
orders. Faster delivery services are available at extra cost
Q: Do you provide UPS/USPS tracking
numbers?
A: Yes. The USPS
number is a ‘Delivery Conformation’ number, which is used to confirm delivery
only, and this is not a true tracking number.
Q: When do you ship?
A: See Shipping Information
Q: How long to the parts take to
arrive?
A: See Shipping Information
Q: Why do the prices change so often?
A: Ford changes their prices every quarter, and since my prices are based
on Ford's prices, thus my prices are also affected.
Q: PayPal won't let me send
$2,000. Why?
A: PayPal has a limit of $2,000 for unverified users. Either
complete the registration process by registering a bank account, or use another
method of payment.
Q: I don't want to register my bank
account with PayPal because I am concerned about security, but need to charge
more than $2,000. What do you recommend?
A: Open a separate savings account to use to complete the PayPal
Registration. Since this account is a savings account, and not a checking
account, nobody can write checks on it, even if they have your account
information. As well, since there won't be any money in the account,
nobody can take any out. Or
you can use a money order.
Q: Why do you show part listings for
parts that you show as obsolete?
A: For information only
Q: Who owns/runs SHO
NUT Performance?
A: SHO NUT Performance
is a family business, owned and operated by Joshua and Julie Teixeira.
Q: Do you have any references?
A: Check out this Feedback page.
Q: What if I have more questions?
A: See the Contact Us page.
