V8 MTX Conversion Clutches

 

We have been working with NESHO http://www.nesho.com and Clutchmasters to develop V8 MTX clutches for NESHO’s V8 MTX conversion kits.

 

We have three levels of V8 Clutch – Stage 0, Stage I and Stage III

 

All three clutches are based on the same HD Pressure plate that fits the flywheel that NESHO uses.  They also use the same custom release bearing.  The only difference between the kits is the disc used.

 

The Stage 0 kit includes the following:

HD Pressure plate, custom release bearing, and Valeo 9.25” organic disc

This is targeted at a daily driver car with stock power levels.  It won’t chatter.

 

The Stage I kit includes the following:

HD Pressure plate, custom release bearing, and Clutchmasters Steelback FX-100 organic disc

This is targeted at a hard-driven car with some minor mods.  This clutch will chatter initially, and the chatter may or may not go away with break in.

 

The Stage III kit includes the following:

HD Pressure plate, custom release bearing, and Clutchmasters Steelback FX-300 segmented Kevlar disc

This is targeted at a hard-driven car with major mods.  This clutch may chatter initially, and the chatter should go away with break in.
